What is your roll at Twin Cities Leasing?

I am the Director of Operations – striving to make everyone’s life a little easier and more efficient.

What is your favorite Real Estate/Rental moment?

My favorite moment with property management (rentals) was a time that I went up against a particularly ridgid City Inspector, on behalf of one of our owners. This was for a correction order that was pretty ludicrous and that the owners had been trying to fight for. This City Inspector had a reputation for not budging, but I was able to (eventually) knock him down a few and make him see how incredibly unrealistic the request was, for that particular situation. So he absolved it and the owner avoided having their property condemned. Big moment. Excellent feeling.

In 10 words tell me about yourself.

Fun, determined, reliable, problem solver, detail-oriented, strong communicator, hardworking, sarcastic, open minded and relatable.

What is something landlords/owners have to deal with that you want to fix?

Becoming just another number in a system, with little to no human interaction. I want them to have that personal touch, through every process and situation that arises.

What’s your background in Property Management and Real Estate Rental Leasing?

My Property Management background comes from 4 years of helping to support the initial growth of Renters Warehouse.

If you could have dinner with anyone; who would it be and what would you eat?

Anyone?! Then, I’d say, Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Ringo Starr. We would probably just have tea and biscuits. Doesn’t matter. It would be perfect…regardless of the details. *Note: if we expand to “anyone – dead or alive” I would have to say all FOUR of The Beatles. Same food/drink applies. Heh.

What do you like about working at Twin Cities Leasing?

I really like the shared commitment toward making the rental experience more personable. I feel like a lot of folks appreciate that. I also enjoy our collaborative efforts, as a team. Each of us brings something a little different to the table, and that’s awesome.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

Going for walks (especially with my dog), weekends up north, spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing games (of all varieties), most anything to do with music, cooking and/or baking, projects around the house,  puzzling, or just lounging at home with my love and our dog.
